Printed with archival inks on 210gsm matt fine art paper. The paper is acid free, so colours stay true and it won’t yellow over time. Every print comes in a standard size, so it also fits frames you already own.

Framed prints

Choose a black, white, oak or walnut frame, made from FSC certified wood. Each frame has a shatterproof Perspex front instead of glass, which keeps it light and safe to hang. Your print arrives framed and ready to hang, with fixings for portrait or landscape.

A4 and A5 frames also include a kickstand for shelves and desks.

Canvas

Printed with archival inks on canvas with a matt finish and a fine natural texture, then stretched over a wooden frame. Arrives ready to hang.

Framed canvas

Add a black, white, oak or walnut float frame. The canvas sits inside with a small gap around the edge, so it appears to float. Float frames have no Perspex or glass, which leaves the texture of the canvas on show.

Framed prints, yes, in a well ventilated bathroom. Avoid hanging them directly above a bath or shower, as steam can get inside the frame over time. Unframed prints and canvas are best kept out of bathrooms.

Meet Sarah, founder of Akua Home

I started Akua Home in 2021 because I couldn’t find art that felt right for my own home. I wanted pieces that looked modern and calm, but also said something about the people living there.

Today I design contemporary wall art inspired by culture, faith and everyday life. The collection ranges from neutral abstract prints to statement canvas art. Some designs carry words or names with real meaning. Others are about colour, mood and the feeling they bring to a room. Either way, my hope is simple: that you find something you love coming home to.
